In high-school, I used to be interested in almost everything. Nowadays, I just don't have so much time… However, I'm still interested in many things… even more than in high-school time :)
In the area of my scientific interest are new software & knowledge engineering methods, especially Model Driven Development and Business Process Modelling. Although it's rather a long way towards MDA, I think that this approach of manufacturing software is really worth getting to know. My research concentrate on Business Processes and Business Rules.
Some of these topics I describe and develop in my publications. I will be grateful if you cite any of my paper :) Please let me know about it, and if you are interested in similar fields of computer science – don't hesitate to contact me and send your papers to look through!
I'm also vitally interested in Internet technologies and web society and culture. I participate in several online communities (here are URLs to some of my web profiles), use many web CMSs (recently, it is mostly DokuWiki or Joomla) and overuse online tools (particularly Google tools and several online non-google ones, such as PDF editor or Oryx editor).
In the future I'd like to develop the idea of Web 3.0, that is the semantic web (and also semantic dictionaries development and application, and semi-automatic terms acquisition). As a matter of fact, I'm a 'neophyte' in the Semantic Web field, but with strong desire to learn.
I like reading publications about Web 4.0, which is sometimes called the WebOS, and according to zdnet.com the WebOS implies that:
machine intelligence has reached a point
that the Internet becomes the planetary computer,
a massive web of highly intelligent interactions
This sounds nice, isn't it? But it's a little bit too early, to consider the concept of Web 4.0… especially, when there is still a problem with Web 3.0…
Once upon a time, I read the book The blind watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. From that time I've started reading more about the theory of evolution. This was also a drive for going in for genetic algorithms.

Music? Do you mean a noise? Really, I hardly ever listen to the music. I'm not used to listening to the music, and then I just can't concentrate on work, reading, etc.
However, I love musicals, especially by Andrew Lloyd Webber. My favourite? Oh, it's easy decision… Jesus Christ Superstar… Second one? This could be harder… I have many propositions for the second position… Ex equo Moulin Rouge, Hair, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, …
I try not to waste my time watching tv… However, I love House MD, Lie to me and several other tv series :] And I'm also going to watch Desperate Housewives and Californication one day ;)
Other things that interest me:
I'm very well educated about my rights as a customer in Poland, as well as I know many secrets of the professional customer service ;) As a rule of thumb, the satisfied customer tells about this fact a few friends, but dissatisfied tells much more. So, if the company cares about its clients, it should provide a high customer service level.
I used to have over 30 accounts (in most polish banks) and a number of credit cards (to put them to the test of course). Now I have only a couple. I wish I had only one bank account… However, there is no perfect bank… Oh, do you think your is? Tell me more about it… ;P
In my opinion the perfect bank should not have a table of fees and commissions. It should rather pay its customers for having an account :] Yeap, I think banks can find other ways of making money than taking them from their clients! I am serious… deadly serious!
If you would like to set up a bank account (in Poland), I advise you to use this application for easy and quick setting up a bank account.
